First it was that
“No white people go to such religious gatherings. Only Nigerians and blacks do such”
Now we’ve shown you that French people (about 80,000) of them went to see the Pope this same weekend at Stade de France.
Then you are saying
“But France is a working country”
Okay, since you guys are changing the goal post, we will also say that the Nigerians who went to see Jerry Eze also live in a working country which is Uk. So what’s the next angle Una go twist am to?
When will you guys realise that people have a choice to their religious belief and have the right to worship their God?
I personally think Nigerian undergrads and graduates don’t do enough internships and fellowships. Just focusing on academic theory for 4-6 years of your life is such a bad idea in today’s workplaces.
An acclaimed billionaire is being interviewed on global media and he’s asked “how did you make your wealth?”
And his answer is that he bought a goat when he was 12 years old and sold the children of this goat to send himself to school and then he started buying international shares at age 18 that made him a billionaire with over 200 fancy cars today.
Please read what I just wrote again.
This is not a novel. This is not Nollywood. This is a true life interview.
Nigerian politicians genuinely believes the average Nigerian is a gullible fool. It shows in the way they think; the way they talk, and the kind of things they say to Nigerians.
We’ve become desensitized to what a billion naira is due to constant headlines of embezzlement.
1 billion naira will pay a ₦500k monthly salary to 10 people for over 16 YEARS!!
One of my favorite analogies is that you do not hire someone as a receptionist and ask them to smile at customers; you find someone who loves to smile and hire them as your receptionist.
Sometimes we hire people and then we expect them to be who they are not, who they never hinted that they could be. Apart from the competence needed to fill a role, there are certain traits and values that you are looking for in your organization. You're not looking for people who are fully formed but is there something you can build upon because these traits can be the most difficult to develop from scratch in people.
It is important that you are clear about the kind of people you need, for the kind of culture that you're trying to build, so that when you make a decision as critical as hiring, you know the signs to look out for.
“You will live to see your children’s children to the third and fourth generation” is a prayer hinged on many socioeconomic and environmental factors. 👇🏻👇🏻
1. Living long enough to even get married
2. Getting married quite young.
3. Marrying the right person so they don’t kill you or ruin your health.
4. Having kids in good time.
5. Being healthy in old age
6. Your kids repeating 1-5.
7. Your grandkids repeating 1-5.
Do you see how these things are products of a functional environment which are hinged on politics?
Think deeply o!
You cannot rehabilitate a person that beheads a person.
You cannot rehabilitate someone that offs people for sport.
You cannot rehabilitate someone that kidnaps and rapes children.
WARNING: DISTURBING VIDEO
This is the clip of Islamic terrorists who kidnapped children in Oyo State torturing them with fire.
And this post is not even to address the government, but the church.
Tinubu has failed. So we are turning to the spiritual conscience of the nation.
Why is the collective church quiet? This is our question.
Why does this not bother the collective church?
Why does the church only speak during elections and not while the consequences of the election are happening?
During the last election, we were told by some preachers that “Saul will come before David.”
To that preacher: Saul has come now. But where is your voice, like Samuel, who told him he had rebelled against God and that the kingdom would be taken away from him?
We were told by another preacher that this government is like Solomon or something.
Where is your voice, sir?
To the pastors who are close to power:
You have invited present and former government officials to your conferences, seminars, and other high-class elite events this year.
Where is your voice?
Again, Tinubu has failed. But the church is the government of God on this earth.
What we bind here is bound in heaven. We will judge this earth.
“We will judge the world.” — 1 Corinthians 6:2
The prophet and the priest have always been the ones who judged corrupt governments.
We see it throughout the Old Testament.
Why do we use Old Testament patriarchs who were rich as examples for the prosperity gospel, but ignore the prophets who rebuked kings?
During Abacha’s time, the church banded together to rebuke him and warred against him in prayer.
You have not done this against Tinubu. You have not denounced him collectively.
And the blood of the innocent flows.
God is angry. He hates when innocent blood is spilled.
If God is angry, how are you all at ease?
And if you are not at ease, why are you not talking?
In times of national crisis, the church prays like Mordecai and speaks like Esther.
Right now, we are not even sure if either is being done.
The church is the conscience of the nation.
John spoke against Herod.
Jesus spoke against Herod.
Why have you all not spoken against Tinubu?
Terrorists are in Ibadan, Osun, and Kwara. They were in the Middle Belt. We did almost nothing.
Now they are at your doorstep.
To the church in Nigeria, what has happened to you?
Between Linda Ejiofor-Suleiman and her husband after making history as the first person to win both Best Actress and the Best Supporting Actress for categories in one night at the AMVCA12 🥹🥰✨
Any hallucination that made 500+ people believe they saw a man die, be buried, rise from the dead, and ascend to heaven is one I choose to believe in, because that in itself is a miracle.
dunsin oyekan’s work rate is the kind that makes other artists have to ask themselves honest questions about how seriously they are treating their gift.
he is consistently writing, producing, releasing, and performing at a level that demands attention. he is not doing this for clout or for numbers.
because the work clearly means something to him beyond what it returns to him and that intention shows up in everything he puts out.
Another time for people who thought it was a ‘cool’ church to be surprised at how much we pray 😂😂😂😂😂😭
My first experience I too shock 😭
I say ahhh!! You sure say no be CAC I enter so? 😭😭😭
