KaspaBuy is coming back!!!⚔️⚔️⚔️
We're excited to announce that we'll be open-sourcing our WordPress/WooCommerce and Shopify payment plugins for Kaspa.
Our goal is simple: help make Kaspa a real blockchain-powered payment network for global merchants.
Stay tuned for us. 💜

Two weeks later, the kasmiths forum is up and running, and there is now a dedicated repo for the standards effort as well: Kaspa Calls for Conventions (KCCs), a new kaspanet repo for converging on actual, formally defined specs and conventions.
Each KCC is a Kaspa Call for a Convention: a document specifying a convention around which independent ecosystem participants and implementations may converge. Topics may include covenant conventions, script-level ABIs, asset standards, wallet and indexer interoperability, based applications, and more.
The first KCCs are already taking shape. @manyfest_ just PRed KCC20, a fungible token covenant specification:
https://t.co/uJHJgUFvKt
and afaik @iziodev is working on KCC1, a script-bytecode ABI for stateful covenants. This should extract and lift the pure definitions currently living at compiler level (ie silverscript), into a shared reusable convention.
Together, the forum and repo provide a path from open technical discussion to actual specs, before incompatible assumptions turn into deployed fragmented implementations.

Sondern:

By 2030 Kaspa should already:
Be listed on min. two T1 exchanges.
Have $100B Marketcap.
Be massively used for micro payments.
Reach at least 200B transactions.
Have 0 downtime.
1000s of projects built on it.
Be used by banks, stores, etc.
Be used outside of finance.

DXB Crypto Take: Kaspa just did what no other chain has. Independently stress-tested EVM stack: 100% pass, 200x cheaper than Ethereum, all settled on Proof-of-Work. No Proof-of-Stake shortcut.

@0xLars_640 If P2P electronic cash vision faded for #BTC , "digital gold" narrative can't save it. You can not secure the network without transactions, without fees. It is sad to see so called Bitcoiners can't even understand how Bitcoin works...

Kaspa's EVM layers passed a full stress test at 200x cheaper than Ethereum
Independent testing put Kasplex and Igra through 66 operations covering token transfers, DEX swaps, lending, and NFT minting. Both scored a 100% success rate with execution identical to Ethereum Sepolia.
Transaction costs came in over 200 times cheaper than Ethereum mainnet, all settling on proof-of-work. Post-Toccata, the $KAS ecosystem has a working EVM stack.
I remember not too long ago many retards were saying that a decentralized messaging app was a waste of time and it would never be useful…now my feed is full of non crypto people in Europe asking which is the best private messaging app…🤔

Toccata changes what a Kaspa transaction can be. Before Toccata, a transaction was mostly a transfer: consume UTXOs, validate signatures, create new UTXOs, move value. After Toccata, a transaction can also carry structured execution intent. It can bind outputs to covenant IDs, allocate compute budget, carry lane-specific payload data, pay gas into app lanes, and prove that a state transition is valid without forcing the entire network to run an application VM.
That is the important shift. Transaction v1 gives Kaspa a new programmable transaction surface. "compute_budget" replaces the old narrow signature-count model with explicit metering for script execution. Covenant bindings let outputs inherit stable lineage through KIP-20, so a stateful application can persist across many UTXO spends even though each state update creates a new script commitment. Payload and gas fields become usable for based-app lanes, where the L1 transaction acts as an ordered user operation rather than a full execution container.
This opens a different design space than Ethereum-style contracts. A Kaspa transaction can now be a payment, a covenant transition, a ZK proof carrier, an app-lane operation, an escrow update, a settlement receipt, a token movement, a vault action, a state checkpoint, or an AI-agent instruction. The chain does not need to execute every app globally. It only needs to order the operation, enforce the covenant rules, verify the proof when required, and preserve the settlement trail.
That is why Toccata matters. It turns transactions into programmable commitments without turning Kaspa into a shared-state VM. State can stay local. Execution can move off-chain. Proofs can settle back to L1. Apps can use lanes instead of fighting for one global execution space.
The possibilities are obvious: autonomous agent payments, SLA bonds, inference markets, data markets, covenant wallets, native assets, proof-settled apps, private-state transitions, and parallel UTXO-native financial systems. Toccata did not just add features. It changed the meaning of a transaction on Kaspa.
