𝑻𝒐𝒎 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒍𝒐𝒏 (𝑪𝒐𝒐𝒍𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒓𝒚)

A member of the Coolderry Club, from a family with a strong GAA tradition, his father Mick was a regular on the Offaly Senior hurling team in the late 40’s and early 50’s, Tom played hurling at all grades for his club, while his son Cathal made 70 appearances for the Offaly Senior Hurlers. A farmer, Tom served as Chairperson of Coolderry for a three year term in the mid 1990’s. A former President of the IFA and Junior Minister in the Department of Finance, Tom recently retired as Director General of the Construction Federation of Ireland.
