@jossreimer https://t.co/BwpXhiYtXE while this didn’t happen downtown, it happened to a man walking to work, this month, in Winnipeg. It’s not racism, it’s genuine and warranted fear.
@WabKinew It’s your Manitoba now, Wab! You’re right, we should be able to live safely… but we’re not! DO SOMETHING or get out of the way so someone who will do something can do the work. This is beyond sickening and horrible!
@NahanniFontaine Meanwhile this week in Winnipeg: A man was walking to work when he was brutally murdered, randomly, unprovoked. A woman was beaten and thrown in a dumpster. Who TF cares about your feminist rhetoric anymore, DO SOMETHING Ms. Former Justice Critic - you have the power now!
@Uber @UberWinnipeg holy crap, I understand surge pricing but you’re downright gouging! $45 to take me 1.7kms? I get it’s a Saturday night in December and you’re busy, but that’s INSANE! I’ve reserved a taxi instead which is $7. For the record, I much prefer to use Uber but $45?!
@WabKinew I can’t believe you can not see that playing favourites when it comes to tax related stuff will absolutely discourage people from investing in this province. When the “billionaires” leave Manitoba to do business elsewhere who will pay the taxes for you to keep handing out?
Support local, they say. So we have, ever since @fionnswpg opened at Crossroads. Today is the last time for us. The hostess was not just rude, she was condescending. We left right after she sat us, before even meeting our server, that’s how unwelcome we felt. I know there is a…
It has been 33 years since the Montreal Massacre at the Polytechnique.
On December 6,1989, 14 women were murdered and another 10 women and four men were injured in a deadly attack motivated by misogyny.
@NahanniFontaine Horrific news from WPS today. My heart is broken and I have so many questions. What I will never understand is how you can stand behind, and support, @WabKinew who has a history of violence. I feel like everything you say has zero value as long as you stand behind him
@jbrowaty 500 MILLION DOLLARS can do so, so, so much, and I don’t know how it will be spent, but homelessness in Winnipeg no longer has any excuse to exist here. @wpgfdn there is now a TON of money to address this and many other issues.
@NahanniFontaine @KevinKleinwpg Yes, please keep pushing this, we absolutely do not need people like @KevinKleinwpg in power, and while you’re at it, get @WabKinew to step down as your party leader. He, like #PeterNygard, has a violent past, including violence against women.
@MBGov I am lucky enough to have a family doctor but appointments book 3+ weeks out, so not much help in many cases. Walk-in clinics often take a certain amount of patients and then cut off for the day, hence urgent care or emergency is the only option for many people.
@HStefansonMB You shouldn’t be proud, you should be ashamed that any friend/acquaintance of rapist Peter Nygard is in office at all. Then again, it’s corrupt politics like this that are protecting Nygard and not holding him accountable for the brutal violent attacks on many women over decades
