I got COVID19 a few weeks ago and based on the clinical trial data in support of metformin being able to lower the risk of long COVID, I decided to take a 2-week course. My COVID symptoms improved rapidly & 🤞 long COVID risk should be about 41% reduced… https://t.co/TLkCRMVRxc
Just be warned if you join the biggest mold avoiders group.
FWIW, I’m fully v*xxed (J/J) and aside from some brief fatigue and aches, I’m fine. Don’t let people convince you that you can’t get your shots without full scientific research w/ proper methodology.
I left Facebook and Mold Avoidance groups years ago because I had a handle on my healing and the groups can be very triggering. I recently rejoined some to do some research on #MoldAvoidance and safe locations.
@runawaykat You take one step at a time. Find online groups (FB or forums), get info there. Lisa Arnison (sp?) & Erik Johnson have a book (Avoiding Mold) available online free (in those groups). Do what you can to remove yourself from the mold first.
The chronic illness community has united in outrage at #BBC doc Sickness and Lies. We call on our allies in the Disabled People’s Movement to join us in condemning this programme as ableist and deeply damaging . RT if you agree https://t.co/bnaTvMO0Jb
@_idlenow Belated reply…years ago I found an online forum for people’s reports on where they felt well. I got some ideas that Colorado might work. 3 years ago we started to take trips to rural SW Colorado to camp. I felt better here. So we decided to eventually move here.
@jamierhale I identify as chronically ill and disabled, although I have a lot of privilege. Ex: I can still work remotely. I don’t usually identify to my employers until I’ve built a relationship. Although one exception: i got an ADA exemption to work remote permanently at my new job.
@_idlenow The one thing about a mold sabbatical is that if leave for a bit, feel better , but go back to a moldy home, you may have a severe reaction. I wish I had helped my husband pack and pitch things in our mold home before I left.
@_idlenow Much better, 3 years later. Still have some residual effects I’m sorting through. Finally moved out of Texas, the biggest miracle. Living in SW Colorado now. How are you?
Things were pretty good considering through the first 9 months of the pandemic. Then they got really good, lots of answered prayers.
Now everything’s emotionally hard and constantly fighting with my husband. Over bullshit. I mean, life stuff. Important but not life changing.
