A QUICK REMINDER ABOUT IMPORTANT GUIDELINES FOR MOHBAD PROCESSION HAPPENING NOW:
Finally today is the Lagos Candlelight 🕯️ Procession and Tribute Concert for Mohbad. And it is happening now.
The candle 🕯️ light procession started since 5pm. The candle 🕯️ light procession starts from Lekki Phase 1 Gate. You can park at the Nigerian law school - for those driving.
WEAR A WHITE T-SHIRT.
WALK IN PAIRS.
NO GUNS. NO KNIVES, NO WEAPONS. NO SHARP OBJECTS. No materials that can be used to harm, hurt, injure or kill someone else.
NO VIOLENCE. NO CHAOS. NO THUGS. NO THUGGERY. NO WAR. Mohbad was not a violent person while he was alive, please let us not engage in fights, chaos, violence or war now that he is dead.
PLS OBEY security agencies which will include LASTMA, Police, Army and Safety Marshalls. Also report anything suspicious or worrying to the security agencies when you see it.
Today we finally get a chance in Lagos to pay our last respects to someone we love, someone we care about and someone who was a victim of harassment, bullying, torture, assault, violence, abuse, threats and blatant oppression; someone whose life was very turbulent, torturous and whose life was ended in very suspicious circumstances suggesting a murder.
May God bless everyone of you for speaking up, for standing up and for insisting on #JusticeForMohbad
Pls repost. Pls share this everywhere so that the whole world will see and for everyone who will attend the procession in Lagos to be aware.
As I always say:
Keep the pressure.
Don’t rest. Don’t stop. Don’t be distracted. #JusticeForMohbad
