That Mass formed saints, martyrs, and entire civilizations for well over a thousand years. Hating what the Church prayed with for centuries is not a mark of progress. It is a rupture with the faith that produced us.

You do not have to prefer it. You do not get to treat as toxic the worship that formed the Catholic world.
