@timClicks Floating point numbers sometimes do it by splitting zero into +0 and -0. That way 1/+0 = +∞, 1/-0 = -∞

@timClicks Mathematicians sometimes do this by placing numbers on a sphere rather than the complex plane. That way there's one ∞ on the opposite side to 0, representing both +∞ and -∞

mold doesn't work on Windows and requires a commercial license on macOS

rustc_codegen_cranelift supports all major platforms except macOS on Apple silicon
