An excellent 1-1 draw for the Y9 boys ⚽️ at The Blue Coat School. Fin.S won the Y9 golden boot with a free kick in the 1st half and we only conceded 1 in the 2nd half despite the attacking onslaught by a high quality opposition. POTM was Dan who kept their star striker at bay.
A first win of the season for the Y8 boys ⚽️ with an excellent 4-2 win over Robert May’s ‘B’ in a friendly this evening. Captain - Stan was POTM with his 2 goals and there were also goals for Nicky and Olly. Madhi made his debut and was joined by Noah and Oscar from Y7 👌
Year 9 girls ⚽️ went to the district 5 a side festival on Friday where they finished 3rd. We won all of our pool games except against Farnborough Hill and then won the bronze medal match. A terrific performance from all of the girls in defence and attack
We took a minibus full of volleyball players to Perins on Friday for lots of mini matches. For May of the squad it was their first competitive volleyball match and their first time representing the school in a sports fixture. Well played all - some fab volleyball played
Y10 boys ⚽️ bowed out of the cup this evening losing 2-1 to Salesian College. Chase scored our goal and we led until about 15 minutes to go. A bit more composure in the final third could have led to a few more chances created but can’t fault the work ethic.
Y9 boys ⚽️ finished off their debut season in the Premier League with a loss to champions Court Moor. Goal from POTM Riley. The boys have managed to retain their Premier League status for next season after double promotion from League One last year. Some achievement! 🎉
Well done to Simon, Xanthe, Phoebe and Uliana who represented Aldershot at the Year 7&8 Hampshire cross country 🏃♀️after qualifying before half term. They all scored good points for the squad.
U13 girls 🏏 had the 1st round of the county indoor competition. They drew against Twyford scoring on the last ball, lost against the eventual winners Farleigh and drew against v St Swithuins keeping them to 2 on the last ball to tie. Xanthe best bowler, Isobel best batter
U14 boys were also at the Surrey state schools championship today with some high scoring entertaining games. Rafferty and Finn from year 7 stepped up to the U14 squad. We beat Rutlish 2-1 in the 3rd / 4th playoff to get the bronze medal
U14 girls 🏑 won the Surrey state schools competition today at Guildford hockey club. All 8 played every minute of every game and they won it without conceding a goal! Amelie, Abbie, captain Neve & Teagan with the goals Amelie & Abbie scoring in the final game to seal the trophy!
Our U15 girls are currently competing in the county indoor cricket tournament. A 73 win run over Testbourne and a 56 run defeat to Churchers so far. Just Lord Wandsworth still to play. 🏏
Mixed U13 🏑 v Perins in the sun today!
Jake, Max, Geoffrey, Simon, Evie and Ellie all played their 1st ever competitive hockey match alongside some of our more experienced players. We won 3 and drew 1 of the matches which was a great return
Y10 boys ⚽️ progressed through to the next round of the cup beating Ash manor school 3-2. Boys had to work hard for the win, boss from Jamie, Chase and Leo. Fynn was POTM on his debut
Two U14 hockey fixtures were played b TPS this wee. The boys played strong opposition and lost 3-2 but great to see Finn, Elijah and Dylan make their debut and Lucas and Xavi play their 2nd game for school. The girls won 12-0 with Neve scoring7!
This afternoon, our year 9 boys B team ⚽️hosted The Blue Coat School (Basingstoke) in a friendly. Our boys did incredibly well against such a strong team to lead at HT but were unable to see it through as the visitors won 6-2. There were 2 goals for Riley and GK - Ostap was POTM.
Our Y9 boys Malta Sports Tour ⚽️ team played together for the first time this afternoon in preparation for their trip next month. A 2–2 draw was followed by a 5–4 win on penalties against an Eggar’s XI. Goals for Harry (2), Altay, and POTM Emmanuel. Debuts for Nic and John 👏
Congratulations to Mr Ion who won the 2026 Eggar’s Darts Championship, finishing on the bull to defeat Josh in year 9 in the final. Josh twice missed out on a maximum 180, with the huge student crowd backing him all the way.
Congratulations to Josh in year 9, and Mr Ion, who have both battled past 71 players (59 students and 12 staff) to reach the final of the 2026 Eggar’s Darts Championship. The final will be played after half term! 🎯🎯🎯
