In fifth grade someone asked me if i had seen the movie โgay people say noโ and i said โnoโ โฆ.. reflecting on how my life would have turned out so differently if i had simply said yes. oh what a fool i was.
Let me tell you a little story.
In 2014, moderate Democrat Brad Ashford defeated a Republican incumbent in NE-02, one of only two Democrats to do so that year. Sadly, he lost in 2016 after failing to outrun Clinton by enough in a district Trump won.
In the 2018 blue wave, Ashford sought a comeback. NE-02 was now prime territory for Dems, full of suburban and urban voters who did not vibe with MAGA.
But progressive Kara Eastman disliked his moderate stances, and, backed by Justice Democrats, beat him in the primary by 3.3 points.
Tragically, despite Biden going on to win NE-02 by 6.5% just two years later, and 2018 being an enormous blue wave year that saw Dems win in places like OK and SC, Eastman lost by 2pts. She was unable to persuade suburban voters, who elected normie Republican Don Bacon.
THEN she tried again in 2020 and lost by 4.6 points, underperforming Biden in the district by more than **11 points.**
Don Bacon has thus been entrenched in the US House ever since, until now. He is retiring, which will probably let Democrats finally win this seat.
Anthony Fauci helped make Big Pharma $90 billion in profit from the COVID vaccines.
Yes, you read that correctly.
$90,000,000,000
That is why he has not had to pay for a single one of his crimes.
@Calebej37 Itโs beyond unfair and I say this as someone who made a LOT of money in tips in college!
On what planet does it make sense for me to pay less in tax but make more money than the line cook making the food Iโm selling?
I think Dawn is pulling a Barbara Streisand because I did not know people were saying dish soap is toxic until I saw the Dawn ad saying โpeople are saying itโs toxic but itโs NOTโ
NCDems are stuffing the ballot box with Stein-Trump votes? Really?
People would rather argue that 1 in 6 NC registered voters are fraudulent instead of acknowledging how insane Mark Robinson was
Instead of answering the Sunshine requests, SF Rec & Park released a long press announcement yesterday.
SF Rec & Park says the temporary Shipwreck Cove playground received a one year permit from the department last week, and construction began on July 16, 2026. There was no waiting for funding before work started.
So. Does building a playground on public park require only Rec & Park approval? I would have expected the usual reviews and approvals, building permits (if applicable), ADA accessibility and playground safety compliance, environmental review, any required coastal approvals, outreach, and insurance.
Rather than responding to the Sunshine requests, SF Rec & Park chose to issue a press release about its expedited project. What are they trying to cover up? So many questions remain unanswered.

ActBlue and WinRed both engage in deceptive practices where checkboxes incurring additional donations are automatically checked or are unclear and old people who arenโt tech literate end up donating way way more than they mean to
In one notable example, an 88 year old woman who lives in a trailer and has no computer is listed as having donated over $150K to Dem campaigns. Including 47 times to @AbdulElSayed โs Senate campaign.
Where is this money really coming from?
Needs to be investigated.
@Calebej37 Also like this is obviously posted in jest because I too have to keep convincing myself not to quit my job and live on the Amalfi coast for the summer
I asked him if something was up in March and he said โNo! I want to hang out more! We can do once a month!โ And we havenโt seen each other since?
