@JadTheMad1@nise_yoshimi Considering he drew a respectable big beautiful woman, a muscular mommy, a kickass mobster guy in high-heels, and a pretty cool smart Eastern/Mideastern villain… The characters he seem to find cool to draw are such opposite of the people he apparently likes irl.
@mauthe_doog The author sure did help to fulfill my fantasy of enjoying the uncle from Sasaki and Peeps without having to go through fuck load of lolis.
@AnAverageGamerX@mauthe_doog Err... Or she could also be desperate for some income by exploiting female ojisan fantasies?
As a woman, that guy is very much my type, and this is the fantasy I can consume without having to endure fucking secondhanded smoke.
@VictorD10968168@maddyferg@Mking_night My country, Thailand, agreed to let the Japanese army used us as a base. (And successfully weaseled our way out of being considered a part of the Axis although at one point we were a part of that map.)
With your logic, does that negate the exploitation of Thai civilians?
@VictorD10968168@maddyferg@Mking_night There is the government action, and the civilian (particularly women)’s exploitable. Japan as a country denying the war crime doesn’t negate the personal suffering of individual women who held no power whatsoever in the decision and mindset of the government.
@KazuyaProta The crime of the government and the exploitation of the civilians can both be true, and doing the whole 'the Japanese civilians didn't have it as bad as other Asian countries so why act victimized' is very eh.
And speaking as a SEA, American soldiers DID exploit Asian women.
@cherrylips_go It is even rather kind to Will Ferrell's character (the kind of men who meant well but they seriously should listen to women rather than deciding what is good for women on their own), showing that he at least had his heart in the right place.
@cherrylips_go Barbie is actually very empathetic towards men. Ken's story is entirely about how it is enough to be yourself (as men would never be free and fulfilled if they consistently tie their value to women - and yes, patriarchy heavily ties men's value to women)
