Even the ones whose kids sadly don’t turn up have the memories of theirs. Some are even just glad their kids are happy even if they don’t see them

@Sargon_of_Akkad @ukipperlad My first girls holiday when I was 17 was the same. I couldn’t wait to see the overcast sky and smell the damp air n trees when I got home. Sounds ridiculous if you’re from a sunny climate but I love this damp green island with all my soul.
