@alenord@weebly Much love to you, Amy! Beautiful post! I have certainly been in the place you describe. Thank you so much for your courage and your honesty for in sharing your experience you are serving others. Keeping you in my heart! (P.S. You ARE amazing - even when you donβt feel like it!)
@CecileLaine @grantboulanger Thank you, @CecileLaine ! I am grateful & truly inspired by teachers who are engaging & motivating students & I want to learn from you all...but I am conscious that we all have our context that we teach in. Let your success speak for itself...& thank you for sharing your wisdom!
@grantboulanger Grant, I have been a fan of yours for a long time, and I love where your heart is with equity. But if I were the teacher who welcomed the shadow student and worked on that lesson that day, I know you are pointing at me. I still wonder what you gain by doing that.
@SECottrell That is truly your prerogative - but it has never worked out for the positive for me. Diving in only ever seems to stir stuff up. Personally, I try to save those conversations for people with whom there is a great deal of respect and trust. And not in public forum.
@SECottrell @GovMattBevin I scrapped my personal social media in favor of professional pages to escape political debates that never end in a satisfactory way for any participant. π¬
Day 1 of ATIβs Support and Empowerment retreat is in the books...and these young leaders tackled the difficult topics of anxiety and depression. Looking forward to Day 2 tomorrow! #WaunakeeWay
