@Mark_Baden I have to see a specialist and there were no appointments available until March. I was told there’s a shortage of doctors and they were hiring to get patients in fast. Our healthcare system is broken in this country.

@nursekelsey My cousin lives in Pennsylvania and her daughter tested positive and her “quarantine” doesn’t begin until 5 days after her first 5 days of exposure because you could catch covid on day 5, so you have to be out 5 more days, even if you test negative.

@nursekelsey Had covid in April 2020. As a result I have an arrhythmia and tachycardia. Spent almost a month with a resting heart rate over 100 before I was put on beta blockers. It also scarred my lungs and now I’m on asthma meds that I haven’t been on in years.

@nursekelsey I’m having surgery in 12 days now and I’m so afraid of getting covid I’m having panic attacks. My doc says if I want to be off of work until my surgery I can, but it’s not really an option for me when you manage a retail pharmacy & you have all this work to do before you’re leave

Standing behind an elderly woman at @cvspharmacy and she’s buying insulin. $1200. She’s visibly upset, and I’m trying not to cry also. Pharmacist says “well at least your insurance paid for over half bc the cash price is over $3000” HOW HAVE WE LET THEM CONVINCE US THIS IS OKAY?
