Doctoral Research Associate @ Greenwich School of Management London and a Senior Lecturer @ Federal Polytechnic Ede Nigeria. A Social Activist 4 Good Governance
Yesterday, it was an honour to tour Dangote Petroleum Refinery with the Directors of First Holdco and subsidiaries 🐘🏭
We were warmly hosted by Africa’s greatest industrialist, @AlikoDangote, whose ambition to the continent continue to inspire so many of us.
Even though I’ve visited the site several times, each visit reminds me of what is possible when big dreams are backed by real action.
Africa’s future will be built by leaders who believe deeply in our own people… F.Ote💲
@SaharaReporters The “40-year-old” part is what caught my attention because why is age being used as the headline instead of competence and plans for fixing JAMB?
@SaharaReporters Armed gunmen attacked three schools (Yawota Basic School, Yawota Community High School, and Esinele Community High School) on May 15, 2026.
@SaharaReporters They killed at least one teacher (and a commuter), beheaded another in a viral video, and abducted a principal, several teachers, and dozens of pupils (including very young children).
@SaharaReporters Islamic terrorists is a sign of blessing that comes with Muslim-Muslim ticket to Yoruba people.
It's difficult to see any Yoruba person that is against Islamic terrorists
The outrage here reflects a deeper frustration in Nigeria: when insecurity becomes normalised, symbolic responses start to feel inadequate. Prayer can comfort people emotionally, but critics argue that kidnappings of teachers and pupils should also trigger sustained public pressure, accountability, and demands for systemic security reforms. A society cannot fast its way out of institutional failure.
Oyo state union of teachers going on 3 days fasting and prayer for release of abducted teachers is misplaced priorities, do they expect God to come down from heaven to do the rescue. They should be going on massive protest and boycott of classroom activities untill their fellow teacher is released.
@SaharaReporters While beheading is going on in Nigeria, and multiples are in kidnappers' den, all that matter to you now is not their safety or apprehending perpetrators, but 2027 election. While others are mourning of a well-videoed beheaded father, you're here talking about primary election..
Accountability starts with identification. All officers are required to display name tags while on duty as directed by the IGP.

I decided before expressing an opinion, to give at least 6 weeks for the Nigerian and British Governments to publish the details of that £746 Million UK Export Finance Deal for Lagos Ports that was signed during the State Visit to the UK.
I’d be super grateful is anyone can signpost me to the disclosure documents of that Deal from either of the 2 governments.
