I had my observation yesterday and I did not die! I was surprised and really happy to see the students so engaged, especially since we were talking about pythagorean theorem and SOHCAHTOA. Not everyone finds it fun. I really do love it when they ask questions❤️#EDU310

Sooo I learned how to tell if a student is using apps like photomath to do the work for them which is kinda cool. However having a talk to a student about it is not so much fun but I think it was beneficial to see. #EDU310

With my placement being off so many days I wasn’t able to go to my placement but I’ve started to think more about my first observation. I hope I can do some kind of whole class teaching to start stepping out of my comfort zone🤗🤗

Juniors are taking the ACT next week and I could feel the nerves in the air. We spent a lot of time talking about what they should expect the day of the test and I shared some of my experiences and tips with them. It really took my back to when I was preparing for it📚😬 #EDU310

My first day at placement went pretty smooth. My mentor teacher had mentioned talking to some of the other teachers in her department about me going in there classes to see the differences in teaching methods they use, which is pretty exciting!! #EDU310

I haven’t started my placement (I start this Friday) however I have the same placement as last semester so I’m excited to work with my mentor teacher again. Can’t wait to see some of the kids again and see how they are doing ✨✨#EDU310
