Some might say that this is Jevons Paradox at work, but it's my view that software development was constrained by how long it took to build software. Now that the time it takes to write code is heavily compressed AND there is plenty more software to build, the demand for software engineers will rise. There is plenty value in the software development lifecycle beyond coding itself!
@linear Well, done @linear I’ve been waiting for something like this. I was tentative about the value of your agents without context of the codebase. But now I’ll definitely commit to spending more time with the Linear agents.

I remember building my first website for Ms. Brophy’s 4th Grade class, circa 1997. It was a single HTML page with images and descriptions of the nine planets in our solar system. (Back then, we had nine planets.) All in hand typed in HTML, took hours.
Today, in seconds, I one shotted a single page application that shows the status and trajectory of the Artemis II mission.
How far we’ve come 🚀
