Julius Olsson was known for his nighttime seascapes. In 'Moonlit Shore' (1911) the light of the moon illuminates the scattered clouds. A floodlit pool is cast upon the ocean in the background, whilst in the foreground we see the moonlight catching the quietly breaking waves. 🌊
