nakakagalit talaga. knowing that rene’s dream school was admu, he probably did everything para mapili sa roster. i couldn’t just imagine him thinking his dream and his family while fighting for his life. tangina, nakakadurog ng puso. tab, you fckng ruined EVERYTHING.
rene’s spot wasn’t even sure pero umalis siyang may binitawang salita sa pamilya niya, that alone speaks how determined he was to be part of admu’s roster for the uaap. tangina lang na sa ganoong paraan nila papatunayan ang mga sarili nila. fck you, tab.
According to investigators, the tragic 🦅Ateneo team-building activity in Dipaculao was allegedly part of the selection process for the team’s final 17-man UAAP roster.
YOU ARE FUCKING INSANE, TAB BALDWIN!
she’s been choosing the right words in every interview and for fucking sake you can’t blame a grieving mother to whatever she could say. matakot ang dapat matakot, makonsensiya ang dapat makonsensiya.
her last words to rene in his casket were, “ayaw sila pakatulog… tungod ba kay pobre ra kita, dili sila makapangayo ug pasaylo nato.”
in tagalog: “huwag mo silang hayaang makatulog… dahil ba mahirap lang tayo, kaya hindi nila kayang humingi ng tawad sa atin?”
a mother’s grieving tongue is dangerous! right in front of her son’s grave! watch out, admu and all those responsible for rene’s death!
the way aeron broke down was completely devastating. rene was the #2 to his #1. when he shook his head at the very end, it was like watching someone drown in a reality they aren't ready to face. ang sakit.
aaron still looked like he couldn’t believe it was happening. aeron’s face was red from crying. macky kept blinking trying not to let the tears fall. elijah quietly murmured “…bobet” matt looked so empty. bajenting was holding back his tears. and their gentle taps.
“ayaw SILA patulga” may those words echo through every corner of that school, louder than every silence, every excuse and every attempt to move on too quickly. accountability should weigh just as heavily as grief and silence should never be allowed to speak louder than the truth.
huhuhuhuhuhu yung buhok ni bobet may bakas pa rin nung red hair era ng davraa boys hahaha sakuragi ka hanggang diyan baterbonia kaya dunk ka lang nang dunk diyan bet. you look so at peace… sleeping ☹️🤍
Maybe the reason why so many people are grieving and deeply affected by the loss of Rene is because he represents most ordinary young Filipinos who dare to dream big not just for themselves, but for their families as well.
He was someone who left home and went to another city without the privilege of strong financial support, carrying nothing but determination, confidence, and a heart full of dreams. He worked hard, stayed true to himself, and never forgot the people he loved.
Watching him play, listening to him talk, and seeing how he interacted with others made people feel like they knew him personally. He felt like a friend, a brother, a son, or someone you genuinely wanted to see succeed. His story was relatable, and in many ways, it reflected the struggles, hopes, and aspirations of countless Filipinos.
That is why his loss hurts so much. Not only for those who knew him personally, but also for those who saw themselves in him. I sincerely hope his family finds the strength to heal through this unimaginable pain, and that they receive the justice, truth, and peace they deserve. 🥺🙏🏽
seeing matt cayetano sitting off to the side, completely broken with his head bowed for two minutes while his friend was being buried is deeply painful to watch :(
rene, you will always be loved by your family, your friends, and every single fan whose life you touched. ☹️
bye, bobet. amping ikaw.
i knew of you through a friend who plays basketball. through him, i came to know about DVRAA and how deeply passionate you were. i hope your heart and mind are finally at peace, knowing the abundance of love your family continues to receive. pahuway na.
