@Brent_gerke I had this happen a few years ago and I lowered the max down pressure and haven’t had it happen since but conditions haven’t been as tough either. It did stop it that year though too.
@Ck27126422@JLinvilleFert@SoybeansRus@JLinvilleFert is a puppet for BlackRock. It all makes more sense now. I haven’t seen a single post that he’s made to benefit a farmer. Just full of excuses as to why we are getting screwed.
@JLinvilleFert@SecRollins@POTUS@epaleezeldin Can you explain why NH3 is priced so high though? I heard from a reliable source that the NH3 price went up only because urea and UAN were so high. There was no production cost reason or even a supply reason for it to be so high. It went up only to follow other sources.
@SecRollins Weren’t you on earlier this winter telling us fertilizer prices are going to go down? Why should we book high priced fertilizer when we are told it’s going down and now you tell us that fertilizer prices have jumped but it’s ok because it’s mostly booked.
@Bkitch1Bodie@aghedger@GoddessofGrain@BlainHizer@gregzimpleman@BenRand10 The approval of E15 year round is just a permanent mandate that it can be done. The past few years there’s been an exemption signed for year round availability. This being done won’t actually change any demand. Changing from E10 to E15 as the RFS standard would change demand.
@mocornfarmer I have been using it for a few years. I don’t use it as much as I should and some of the application data I wish could be tweaked a little for manual input on a batch level but it’s a great way to get your numbers right if you take the time to put it all in.
@JasonSchley So if carbon needs to be our focus should we be using our WEOC/CEC score to help determine what our yield goal should be and build a fertility program from there?
@_TheMizzouTiger I want to be big enough to be able to support the labor that allows us to operate efficiently during the busy time with the higher value equipment but small enough that I’m still in the field operating the equipment so I know it gets done how I want it.
@Dusty3080467325 I wish we could get back to the days of having an owner of a company with their name on it, not stockholders that can tank a company from a bad run and pricing of products isn’t the logical value but it’s the price they need to reach targets.
@itsmetoo92774@twotthree64@MI_beef@ThinkethSo@BradyD78 I would be more than happy to employ a workforce that will allow us all to only work 40hrs a week every week but if I’m going to do that then I want to be able to tell you what my product is worth and I don’t think you’ll like that answer.
@Bkitch1Bodie I’m the same way. Would it help? Yes. Is it necessary? No. Is it the right thing to do? Sort of. I would prefer the government be removed for ag but that includes reporting and all of the USDA that manages supply and demand or market control.
@Bkitch1Bodie@clintwfischer We get lunch brought to the field but not dinner. My wife used to bring dinner after we had our first kid and after all the work she put into it we would seem to breakdown and be home early so my superstitious tendencies got to me and I swore off dinner in the field. All better
@Dusty3080467325@LineRed8039 I’m all for pushing for cheap seed and saving money but it’s not a fair comparison the $300 to $125. If I remember right isn’t the $125 your non-gmo. Becks non-gmo is usually around $100 less than traited.
