@CapeFearDevs @kevin_tran Ha yes, a daily board everyone plays would be perfect for that. Bragging rights for the fewest moves

[Ehsan Haque @ehsanul]

I made a little falling-block puzzle game with AI 🧱

Brickdrift is an experimental side project built with Claude Code. It's free with no sign-up, works on phone, desktop and gamepad, and has an anonymous leaderboard.

How high can you get?

@HertzyPertzy Oh nice, a secret room too! I'll give it a play this weekend and let you know what I think

[Ehsan Haque @ehsanul]

@jacksunny18 Glad it helped! Leaving a shell where you left it felt like the only sane default.

[Ehsan Haque @ehsanul]

I built a retro file manager for macOS 🖥️

RetroDir: two panels, ten function keys, a built-in tabbed terminal and a classic text-mode look. Keyboard-first, free and open source (MIT).

Another experiment built with Claude Code.

[Ehsan Haque @ehsanul]

@Joshua_WD Ha, that was the whole point! Did you check out the different themes? Try those out!

[Ehsan Haque @ehsanul]

@jacksunny18 Each tab keeps its own working directory — browsing never moves a shell. Cmd-T is the explicit “open terminal here”: it switches to a tab already in that folder or opens a new one, never cd-ing an existing shell. That’s the 1.0.1 behaviour: https://t.co/eRXYSjA1zr

[Ehsan Haque @ehsanul]

@faizif5a Great point, F8 hitting the panel when you meant the shell would be the worst case. I'll note a clearer focus marker for whichever pane owns the keys, thanks!

[Ehsan Haque @ehsanul]

@LauraLoumd Glad that part landed, that was the whole idea. Post your score when you get a run in!

[Ehsan Haque @ehsanul]

@CapeFearDevs @kevin_tran Ooh that's a fun one, a messy board and a fixed queue turns it into a proper puzzle. Adding rescue mode to my ideas list

[Ehsan Haque @ehsanul]

@GamePixDev @GamePix Thanks! I'll take a look

[Ehsan Haque @ehsanul]

@kevin_tran Fair point, it's pretty much a classic falling-block game right now. Any twist you'd want to see? Open to ideas

[Ehsan Haque @ehsanul]

@ven_ai_lab Thanks Ven! Getting the gamepad working was one of my favorite parts. Agents driving a video editor over MCP is a cool idea

[Ehsan Haque @ehsanul]

@audiee_ai Thanks Chloe! The gamepad support was the part I had the most fun with, give it a go if you've got a controller nearby

[Ehsan Haque @ehsanul]

@HertzyPertzy Thanks! A platformer sounds fun, and yeah, the small polish stuff used to be what I'd skip. Share it when it's playable, I'd love to try it

[Ehsan Haque @ehsanul]

@LauraLoumd Thanks Laura! Glad you like it. Let me know where you end up on the leaderboard, and if anything feels off while you're playing I'd love to hear about it 🙂

[Ehsan Haque @ehsanul]

@GRASSGURU What was the deciding factors to open school on Thursday? The bus stops are not clear and students will have to wait on the road for the bus. Temperature will be below freezing. What’s so special about PWCS than other counties that they must open in this condition?

[Ehsan Haque @ehsanul]

One thing I keep relearning:
building something small and useful is often harder than building something impressive.

Saying no to extra features takes more discipline than writing code.

[Ehsan Haque @ehsanul]

I built ColorScreenWithTimer because I kept needing a clean fullscreen color and a simple timer for focus sessions and quick setups.

It’s intentionally minimal and runs entirely in the browser.

@addisonschultz Congrats on your relaunch. I will checkout
