RICA provides support and mentorship to LGBTQ+ youth. They meet twice a month on weekends. One meeting is support for teens and the second has professionals come in to work with our students.The next meeting is October 28th from 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM at Smokey Row in Des Moines.

Today is the final "early out Wednesday" at DMPS. There will be no more this school year in order to make up for days lost to winter weather.

And next school year, professional development will be during all-day sessions so that each school day dismisses at the same time.
