Videos on X show claims of police overreach during today’s Delhi protests. It appears both sides experienced excesses, with supporters shaping narratives to assign blame for the violence.
Allowing a protest in a fortified, remote part of Delhi, might have prevented this situation
Different parties, same obsession with immortalising their leaders through public assets. Ban naming public infrastructure, institutions and schemes after politicians, living or dead. Public assets are not political trophies.

Sanctioning nations for ties with Russia, yet buying its oil to cool US prices. Such hypocrisy erodes US credibility and pushes the world to imagine a future without America.

@PTI_News Indo-US relations have been facing many challenges recently, and the near-term outlook remains uncertain. However, these circumstances may serve as a catalyst for positive transformation in India, encouraging greater strides toward self-reliance.
Too early to conclude, but if Flydubai was terror, the implications go far beyond one flight. Could this trigger a new phase of Israeli reactionary measures, Islamist extremism….further polarising an already fractured world? #flydubai
@JaipurDialogues Don’t drift from the core concern.
The MLA has no authority to physically assault a citizen, regardless of party affiliation. No one is above the law. Legal action against him should have begun promptly.
Had a common man acted this way, he would have been arrested by now.
@TimesNow Case of rules for thee, but not for me.
Had this assault occurred the other way round, the fellow would have faced severe interrogation, physical torture, following an FIR and arrest by now.
@ANI Two wrongs don’t make a right. If Saheb Singh is wrong then so is the MLA. Don’t know why people are trying to defend the indefensible.
Law must prevail in both cases.
@PTI_News Interesting!!!!
He slaps someone before the police, who ignore the event, refrain from filing an FIR, and are now building additional security around the MLA’s residence. Ironical indeed. As they say,
Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely.
@ANI The minister has no right to get physical with anyone posing valid questions about his team’s work quality. Regardless of political alignment, as a public figure he remains answerable to everyone in his constituency/ state.
SIR 26 exposes serious accountability gaps.
Data should have been prefilled in forms, leaving citizens to correct/update information. Instead, BLO confused initially and now ECI expects citizens to fill forms to correct data entry errors made by them. Sarkari accountability!!!
@Sanju_Verma_ Those who justify every government choice, whether sound or flawed, are termed chamchas.
As in any sphere, individuals / teams make mistakes, humility involves admitting the error and course correcting, rather than defending the indefensible and risking self credibility.
@poojaofficial5 Public sector banks carry minimal risk of job loss, enabling them to act with impunity. Officials may make errors & delay account holders funds for months, yet they demand interest when a payment is missed. I am currently dealing with unpleasant officials at @OfficialSBICare
@MeghUpdates This is all nonsense. Consumers will have to pay this charge, either through higher prices or as a separate usage fee into a shadow account (the trader’s worker or employee account?).
