To anyone saying the Eagles lost the trade, we acquired a 24 year old AJ Brown for a 1st and 3rd.
In return for him at age 29?

I hate when Non-Sixers fans find these talking about “Hindsight is 20/20”
Nobody wanted to trade Mikal
Nobody wanted Horford for 100 Million
Nobody wanted Tobias over Butler
Nobody wanted to trade McCain
Nobody wants to sell every deadline
Aaron Rai just won the PGA Championship at Aronimink…
Then declared the Eagles his favorite NFL team.
Said Philly is the best atmosphere he’s ever played in.
And led the gallery in an E-A-G-L-E-S chant.
The city has a new favorite golfer. 🦅
The thought of seeing Joel Embiid wear another teams uniform is not one I like…
Is he perfect? Of course not, his body has failed him over & over. But I’m rocking with @JoelEmbiid until he calls it a career & I hope that’s in Philly
The most talented/under appreciated big ever
The Daryl Morey fireable mistakes
Missed picks in the past
Waived Isaiah Joe
Released Champagnie for a dunk contest
Holding on to Tobias Harris contract
Signed Dewayne Dedmon
Lied to James Harden
Messed up KJ Martin
Overpaid Paul George
Drafted Johni Broome
Trading Jared McCain
Never providing a great bench
Failed Embiid
Overplayed Maxey
My favorite part of this Sixers season was when the billionaire owner (whose name appears in the Epstein Files) saved himself some money by making the team worse.
again, it's not about trading McCain. it's that they dumped him, after Jo publicly asked for them to not duck the tax again, to duck the tax again and didn't make a subsequent move. him playing well just makes it worse.
Josh Harris was more focused on ducking the tax instead of improving the team. That’s also not even the main reason why he should be forced to sell the team……
Trading away a guard that could shoot off the bench to duck the tax & not adding any depth at the trade deadline is hurting this team more than ever
“So the process didn’t go the way Philly fans hoped.
But, like I said earlier, it didn’t die when Hinkie was replaced. It didn’t die when Fultz lost his shot. It didn’t die when Butler, Simmons, or Harden left town…
It lives on, wearing the number ‘21’ and playing in the Wells Fargo Center. It plays through contorted faces and torn meniscuses. It leaves everything it has on the court, every time.
Maybe its knees aren’t what they once were. Maybe it can no longer play back to backs. Maybe it won’t qualify for MVP or accolades. Maybe it’s only got a season or two of peak play left, if that.
Or…maybe not.
After all, that’s exactly why we ‘Trust the Process’, right?”
