My girlfriend once told me something during an argument that I never forgot.
She said, “You always tell me to talk to you when something hurts me, but whenever I do, you defend your intentions instead of trying to understand why I was hurt.”
“You don’t have to agree with every feeling I have. But you should care enough to acknowledge it. Your intentions may explain why you did something, but they don’t erase the impact it had on me.”
Then she said something that stayed with me:
“You have pimples on your face.”
“You're getting fatter.”
“You have a scar here”
“Your acne is bad”
Yes, I saw it in the mirror before leaving home. Now shut up, mind your business and leave me the fuck alone.
You're supposed to use every unfair advantage you have. Looks, genetics, connections, dad's money, whatever.
There's nothing noble about choosing the hardest path just to feel like an underdog.
Sir @JDMahama, I would be deeply honored to cook with you someday. Over a meal, I’d love for us to explore the future of Ghanaian food, culture and how we can showcase our cuisine to the world . Thank you 🇬🇭
I want to do a Ghanaian menu takeover in an airline! What does this mean, it means on that day I want to develop a menu inspired by Ghanaian or African flavors , and on that day all the passengers will eat is the Ghanaian food on the flight! Imagine this! Shooting my shot 🌟
One of my life goals is to mentor the next generation of creators to own their narratives and push the boundaries more than I have.
Engaging with British High Schoolers through the SNAPCHAT UK philanthropy session to discuss my creator journey was fulfilling.
Thank You Snapchat Team for putting this together, I can't wait to be back
God I need a proper big girl job…. I love seeing high earning corporate women.
Their dresses, wigs, pants and shirts, bags, accessories and poise.
I’m suited for it oh Lord! You know I’m not lazy and I’m humble enough to learn 🙏
