@trishhmakes@Kellieherring The poster is not saying it feels off because YOU personally didn’t know there was a mall before. They are saying if you (generally) didn’t know there was a mall before, It feels off for there to be a mall there.
@sudsley Friendly reminder that I work in a hotel in NYC, and could probably get you a discounted rate. We actually had several people stay there for this event last year.
@ItsRainingBen It took me 57 guesses. It didn’t take me too long after I got the first group, because then I realized what you were going for. But I was thinking way too hard about it.
@lickstiel@svershbow At one hotel, we had to start mentioning the wellness check at check in, because something similar happened & the guest didn’t believe that it was management at the door. They sent a review about how unsafe they felt. Which is ironic, since the whole point of it is FOR safety.
@TimBeaufoy @EthreeM @svershbow Just curious… how do you know if you’re not there?
A wellness check does not involve getting new towels or your trash being removed. 9 times out of 10, a guest only knows a wellness check has been performed for their room if they’re there at the time.
@House_of_Jay A little of both. I feel like we talked about CJack (maybe because of FLS) and LMM. I was pretty sure you saw Merrily, so I ruled out Groffsauce because it would put you in a position to meet him. So it was between Leslie and Daveed, and Daveed just seemed less accessible. Lol
@TimBeaufoy @svershbow Then either the hotels you’ve stayed at don’t have the same policies and/or you’re not there long enough to warrant them to go in, or it’s happened when you aren’t in the room.
