On Tuesday 13 June, The Department of Energy Security and Net Zero has announced that the compliance deadline for Phase 3 of ESOS has been extended from 5 December 2023 until 5 June 2024.
The government has launched their registration portal for businesses to apply for additional levels of support under the EBDS scheme. The portal is now open for businesses to submit their application within 90 days, starting from 26 April 2023.

EBDS is set to come into force from 26 April 2023, with new details about the Energy and Trade Intensive Industries (ETII) discount. The application portal is expected to open in the coming weeks where the government will determine eligibility.
