Honored to meet w/ two ministers of #Myanmar#NUG alongside #Rohingya community leaders, including the new Rohingya advisor to the NUG Minister of Human Rights. We’re impressed by the initial steps the NUG has taken to address our concerns regarding Rohingya representation. (1/2)
Though the NUG must do more to build trust with Rohingya and other ethnic groups and will be judged by its actions rather than intentions, we support NUG efforts to build a democratic #Myanmar which protects the rights of all of its diverse peoples. (2/2)
