Our hearts are broken over Ogbomosho. Read thread >>>
Children were taken from their classrooms. A teacher was beheaded. Let that sink in. A teacher. Beheaded. In Ogbomosho.
Philippians 3:13 tells us to forget what lies behind and strain forward to what lies ahead. Are you holding on to the pain of a past disappointment or missed opportunity?
Open your eyes! Choose to not think or talk about past regrets. Instead, begin each day with this prayer: “Lord, thank You for the great things You are doing in my life. Please help me to forget what lies behind and open my eyes to the amazing things You have planned for my future.” #JoyceQuote
Instead of giving life to defeat, declare, “I am focused. I am strong. I am secure. I am confident.” When God hears the “I am,” declaring what He said about you, angels go to work, forces of darkness are broken, miracles are set into motion.
"We have to go through things with God and learn for ourselves. I can tell you He's faithful, but you have to experience it. Stop running from hard things. The first thing I say when trouble comes is, 'This will end well. I will come out on the other side.'" -Joyce

"The best way to deal with the changes in your life is to believe what He says in His Word. He loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life. You can trust that God knows what He is doing in your life and that it will work out for your good (Romans 8:28). Change often hurts, but in the end, it frees us and makes us glad."

Prayer is the greatest privilege of our lives. It's not something we have to do; it's something we get to do. We can talk to God through prayer about anything and everything—at any time, day or night. It’s the way we partner with Him to see His plans and purposes come to pass in our lives and in the lives of those we love. Prayer allows us to share our hearts with God, to listen for His voice, and to know how to discover and enjoy all the great things He has for us.
If you really want your life to change for the better, you will need to make one good choice after another, over a period of time, just as consistently as you made the negative choices that produced negative results. #JoyceQuote
