RELEASE FOLLOWS:

“We understand there are rumors—predominantly in social media—that AMC theaters have made it difficult for fans to see SOUND of FREEDOM in local AMC theaters, and we want to make it clear these rumors are not accurate,” states Brandon Purdie, Head of Angel Theatrical Distribution. “AMC has been an outstanding partner for Angel Studios, and in fact, as a result of the movie’s performance and consumer demand, AMC has agreed to add additional screens for SOUND OF FREEDOM this weekend.

“Angel Studios and the producers of SOUND OF FREEDOM are asking our fans to support AMC, and all of our other theatrical partners. Summer is the busiest season for people working in theaters, so we ask that anyone attending a screening of SOUND OF FREEDOM show kindness to their local theater staff. We have the best movie fans in the business. Let’s continue to show theaters the love that Angel supporters are known for.”

Support from Angel’s theatrical partners has been the backbone of the success of SOUND of FREEDOM. AMC has been a key advocate, with the film showing in nearly all AMC theaters, which have sold over one million tickets.

Angel Studios thanks all of its partners in exhibition on the Sound of Freedom release:

AMC
Cinemark
Regal
Marcus Theatres
Harkins Theatres
Cineplex Cinemas
Landmark Cinemas
B&B Theatres
Megaplex Theatres
Malco Theatres
National Association of Theatre Owners
Independent Cinema Alliance

Along with the 200 additional theater chains in North America.

SOUND OF FREEDOM is based upon the true story of former government agent Tim Ballard who quit his job to rescue a little girl from sex traffickers in the Colombian jungle. In the process, Tim ended up saving 123 people, 55 of which were children, from one mission alone.

BREAKING: President @JoeBiden informs Congress that he has authorized the Secretary of Defense and the Secretary of Homeland Security to order members of the Selected Reserve and Individual Ready Reserve to active duty without their consent.

He added that this is in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve and aims to enhance the United States' presence and operations for United States European Command. The total mobilized members should not exceed 3,000, with a maximum of 450 from the Individual Ready Reserve.

He wrote, "In accordance with section 12304(f) of title 10, United States Code, I am providing notice that I have authorized the Secretary of Defense and the Secretary of Homeland Security with respect to the Coast Guard when it is not operating as a service in the Department of the Navy, to order to active duty members and units of the Selected Reserve and appropriately designated Individual Ready Reserve members, without the consent of the member concerned, pursuant to 12304(a) of title 10, United States Code.

"Reserve mobilizations under this authorization are not to exceed 3,000 total members at any one time, of whom not more than 450 may be members of the Individual Ready Reserve.  These Reserve Component forces are to augment the active forces for Operation Atlantic Resolve to enhance the United States' ability to sustain its heightened level of presence and operations in support of United States European Command.

"A copy of the Executive Order I have issued is enclosed.

"JOSEPH R. BIDEN JR."

[Simon Ateba @simonateba]

EXPLANATION: The Selected Reserve refers to a category of individuals who have voluntarily joined the military and are subject to part-time service obligations. These individuals typically participate in training and maintain a readiness status while balancing civilian careers or education. They can be called up for active duty in times of need.

The Individual Ready Reserve (IRR) consists of former active duty or reserve members who have completed their obligated service but may still be called back to active duty in certain circumstances. These individuals do not actively participate in military activities but are available for recall if the need arises.

In this context, the authorization allows the government to activate and deploy members from both the Selected Reserve and the Individual Ready Reserve to support Operation Atlantic Resolve.

@simonateba @KathyKbrose @JoeBiden Biden is forcing us into a war no one voted for. This is treason.

[Dragon Fire @Dragon_Fire530]

@Jules31415 @simonateba @KathyKbrose @JoeBiden Presidents can do this. It's not treason. However influence peddling with China, Ukraine, Romania, etc. is definitely treason. But the fact that he gets away with this tells you just how corrupt our government agencies are. Starting WWIII is no big deal to these criminals.
