Q#6: #MCtechsavvy Technology enhances lessons. One way is in Math. It is really helpful to build arrays in front of the students to show "groups of". Another way is in Social Studies. It is very helpful to show students all continents when discussing them.
Q#5: #MCtechsavvy Tool is defined as "a device used to carry out a particular function". There are so many functions that technology helps with in the classroom. 3rd grade starts a lot of nonfiction research. Many websites are very kid friendly for research.
Q#4: The principals that I employ on deciding on integrating technology into my instruction is how the students respond to it. 3rd graders are often highly motivated by using technology. I have had great success with projects using things like Book Creator.
Q#3: #MCtechsavvy Technology can have both positive and negative effects on learning. The technology departments need to be supported with staff. Learning is at times halted because of issues.
Q#2: I use technology in my classroom everyday. My students love doing centers. We use Raz-Kids and XtraMath during centers. I also use interactive whiteboard activities.
