@CalMac_Updates Shocking that you are trying to make out this is to help an event on Islay. It was meant to call in at PA anyway, but you decided it would be better to send a ferry with only 8 cars directly to Colonsay. Then a last minute change and lots of people not notified in time.
@CalMac_Updates what is the difference between the booking status for these ferries? Why does one say sold out and one say car not available? Passengers are available for both so why the difference?
@CalMac_Updates Did no one think of testing this with local users before launching? It’s a mess. Islay has 2 ports for the same service, but the booking system means we have to leave and return to the same port. And we can’t check availability for all sailings on one day.
@UKMeteorNetwork Would there be a noise associated with this? There was a loud bang around that time on Islay and heard in different places up to 15 miles apart.
@CalMac_Updates If it’s ultimately the captain’s decision then why do we bother with a timetable? He can just go whenever he wants. I understand the safety issues. I just don’t understand the randomness of it.
@CalMac_Updates So to get home, when travelling with Calmac, we don’t choose the best time for us, we choose the boat most likely to sail? That still doesn’t tell me why the Heb Isles can go at 6, but the Arran can’t.
Back to work with a bang for the @The_SCOTS Reserves this year with a Range weekend.
The Battalion 2IC gladly took this chance to promote Lance Corporals McGurk and Gough to Corporal and Private McLean to Lance Corporal. #Congratulations to you all, an outstanding #achievement.
Please vote for your favourite images. Mine is 'A Bridge Too Haar' and I would appreciate your vote very much. Thanks.

Many congratulations to our own Private Kevin MacLean on being awarded a CGS Commendation today - much deserved for his tireless support to the Reserves and his community on #Islay.

🎨How about a little art competition for kids! I built this brand new BIG #LEGO set ➡️ #StayHomeSaveLives. Once social distancing restrictions ease, I’ll send it off to the winner as soon as I can. Have a look at the rules! End date April 30th, ages up to 16. Good luck!
Forgive us for spamming your screens folks! We are trying to tag folk who might share. We are trying to get 57k people (the number of Gaelic speakers in Scotland) to sign up by the end of St. Andrews. Tell your pals! Ceud taing!
