A perfect day:
- a quiet morning
- empty calender
- coffee & silence
- a long walk in nature
- sitting by a river & self-talk for 2 hours
- a long hot shower
- journal
- music, cook lunch
- lazy nap
- sunset tea & deep conversations
- cosy dinner + movie
- read, sleep
Somewhere in the race of life, we forget who we are. The real self slowly gets buried. Under stress. Anxiety. Expectations. Other people’s opinions about who we should become. And one day you realize you don’t even remember the things that used to make you feel alive. The version of you that spent hours making the perfect playlist. The one who loved watching old westerns. The one who read fiction without trying to extract a life lesson. The one who played sports just because it was fun. The one who went outside because being alive felt interesting enough. And now? You’re sitting alone in a dark room scrolling through 10-second videos. Laughing at things you won’t remember 5 min later. A laugh that doesn’t even reach your lips. That’s why slowing down matters. Being alone matters. 'Know thyself' matters. Because when the noise disappears, something beautiful happens... You finally start hearing the person your left behind.

I’m an introvert. I naturally crave peace and quiet. Too much noise, stimulation, or social interaction overwhelms me. But I grew up in a world that rewards extroversion. If you’re not loud, outgoing, don't express yourself, people assume something is wrong with you. So I learned to perform. To be more social. More energetic. More available. More “on.” And I suffered in silence.
That’s why a slow life means so much to me. It’s not just a philosophy. It’s a rebellion against everything we’ve been taught is “normal.” A slow life is a way that actually fits your soul. A life lived at your own pace. A simple, peaceful, meaningful life. And after years of pretending to be someone else, there is nothing more healing than finally becoming yourself.
I genuinely feel this is going be very big in a few years. I can feel it to my bones. People are tired from all this noise & overwelm. We want real. We want depth over noise. The slow life movement is here...
A slow life is a life that’s aligned with your soul:
- waking up without rushing
- coffee in silence
- reading books that take weeks to finish
- long walks in nature
- cooking something simple and slow
- sitting by a window doing nothing
- keeping your circle small
- keeping your life private
- saying no without guilt
- listening to music and staring at the ceiling
- working on something meaningful
- letting yourself get bored
- going to bed without feeling drained
- moving at your own pace
- not caring what people think
A slow life is not a boring life. It’s not a lazy life. It’s not an unambitious life. It’s a life built around what actually feels true to you.
Disappear to build yourself in private. Nobody cares. Nobody. Avoid people who lower your vibe. And never chase people. Play dumb if you have to, to protect your energy. Trust your gut. Be patient with yourself. Limit your access. Trust me, once you decide you want a good life, people appear, doors open, and miracles light up your life. Sometimes... growth is learning to be alone.
