You don't have to be trans to understand the importance of respecting trans people and affirming their identities.
Life is just too short. I can't imagine how it makes any sense to use one's fame and resources to put others down.
@unbearablybold I'm cis and straight, but I also have my preferred pronouns in my bio because it is one small step I can take to demonstrate inclusivity by standing together with others who are different to me. Diversity makes a village.
Congrats to the high school Class of 2020, as well as to the teachers, coaches, and most of all, parents and family who’ve guided you along the way. Thanks for letting me be part of your big day!
@plspreeti If you'd like to learn more about other examples of racism in Singapore, or read old discussions and arguments that people have been having for decades now, here's an incomplete list I've put together (because people kept asking me "got racism meh?")

Repealing 377A is not akin to “supporting a LGBT lifestyle”. It’s just a decent thing to do by not defining homosexuals as criminals. 377A is archaic and deserves more scrutiny.
377A is discriminatory and it has to go. (Share this and use it as your profile pic if you believe in equality for all and want a more inclusive Singapore).

(2/2) When a woman is emotional, she’s “hysterical” and she’s penalized for it. When a man does the same, he’s “outspoken” & and there are no repercussions. Thank you, @serenawilliams, for calling out this double standard. More voices are needed to do the same.
