@itsnwts In ireland many women of my mother's generation had to give up there jobs in public service as soon as they got married. Also divorce wasn't allowed either until the late 90s after a referendum.

@Mr_Husky1 It depends on the country you are in, for the USA it is now a minimum of 20% because the minimum wage for people in jobs like waiting table is ridiculously low. In Ireland or other countries where there isn't a differential between jobs for minimum wage tips are optional.

@tvnduewest @lady_valor_07 GEM that is a serious blast from the past. The first computers at my secondary school were GEM desktops and the classes were either a paint app or a typing game. My university had its first PC room accessible to all students the year I started.

@NimraShahzadin It's either not butter or not salted. Proper pure butter that is salted will not go moldy as long as it's stored in a cool place. They've found butter that was hundreds of years old in irish bogs that was still perfectly edible. I've had unsalted butter go moldy but never salted.

@MbarkCherguia I found they help reduce the drying out of my sinuses on long haul flights, I dont wear them all the time just when needed. Im also prone to allergies so high pollen count can have me reaching for a mask too.

@lady_valor_07 There shouldn't be a double standard in minimum wage that is so vast. In ireland the latest minimum wage is €14.15/hr but younger workers can be paid less as its assumed they don't have the same living expenses as adults. It goes down to €9.91 for under 18s.

@mrmikeMTL My mum and dad were talking about retirement and selling their business when they were 65 but then dad died suddenly so mum stayed working so it would keep her occupied. I manage the business now but she's still in 4 or 5 days a week,even does it to get a break from visitors

@alexhorner2002 @wydyama If you live in a hilly area with narrow roads manual would absolutely be preferable. But for urban driving a modern automatic is ideal. I have a plug in hybrid EV so its mostly automatic but I can switch it to semi automatic with paddle shifters when need arises.

@Moonlight_myths Hair colour can also change as kids grow up. A bunch of my generation on my dad's side were various shades of blonde as kids despite all the parents being dark. Everyone but me went dark brown to black by their mid teens. I stayed a lighter brown.

@shelhbywaters @Seb5meister Susie Wolff actually spoke about the issue, the F2 and below cars do not have power steering so the girls have a hard time controlling such heavy vehicles. Its why you're seeing women in WEC and rally racing but not in FIA open wheel racing when the cars get heavier.
