You lucked out! I am happy for you. There are so few seasoned, intuitive medical personnel now that it is frightening. ED staff must have concrete medical evidence to justify their every move. Unfortunately, medical tests can often be incorrect or misinterpreted. ED staff also follow one-size-fits-all medical algorithms while people often present with symptoms unique to themselves. All this helps ED staff meet their main directive to treat, stabilize, and discharge.
