I’ve always said AI on phones is useless and gimmicky.

Editing photos and putting fake stuff in them, generating AI slop — all this is a cool party trick but rarely useful.

But this right here is a GREAT use of AI.

- Asking Siri to find and delete all the spam emails from a specific domain is something genuinely useful.

- Siri logging into apps and websites on your behalf and changing your weak or compromised passwords, and saving them to the Passwords app, is amazing.

- Siri keeping track of a product’s stock on a webpage and notifying you when it’s back in stock, is something people would use all the time.

This is the CORRECT use of AI and Apple seems to be on the right track here.
