A film about racing, humility, friendship and a subtle history lesson on the erasure of Route 66 + a beautiful soundtrack and critics had the nerve to give it one of the lowest ratings for a Pixar film ever.
That’s when I knew Hollywood didn’t know anything about quality.
as someone that’s actually pro choice this is so crazy to me. so aborting a healthy child cause of finances, not the right time, etc is okay but aborting a disabled child (for those same reasons) is where yall draw the line???
Bitches be funding birthday trips, buying clothes, paying rent, washing ass, cooking & fixing cars & got the nerve to think somebody want the nigga. We want YOU!!!!!!
I prefer dating someone who's healthy clingy. Constant talking, planning future dates/trips, and asking "When can I see you?" Yeah, I like that very much. #myman
These are not the same situation. Not even remotely and I genuinely don't understand why people keep conflating them as though they're interchangeable scenarios.
My first year in case management we had an elderly woman found down at the grocery store. She was somnolent then confused. Frail. Kept mentioning a name when she finally woke up — we thought it might be a dog or cat so we called animal control.
It was her disabled son who hadn’t eaten in days, alone.
Our social nets are small and they are shrinking.
But hey, cute tractor video.
"You robbed yourself of experiencing a level of empathy and compassion few ever get the opportunity to develop"
You're still thinking about yourself and not the child.
