Me: inside Japanese police station.
not arrested. hopefully.
I came to report lost wallet.
officer very polite.
Officer: Where did you last see it?
Me: Probably train station.
Officer nods, types for two seconds.
Officer: Found.
Me: …what.
Officer: Yes.
Me: That fast?
Officer: Japan.
another officer walks over holding my wallet carefully like sacred relic, everything still inside, cash untouched.
Me genuinely emotional.
Me: This country is unbelievable.
Officer smiles proudly, then pauses.
Officer: There was one issue.
Me: …what issue.
Officer opens wallet slowly, pulls out embarrassing anime sticker I forgot existed.
silence.
both officers staring at me respectfully but differently now.
Officer: You like magical girls?
Me: …we all have struggles.
older officer suddenly leans forward.
Old Officer: Season two was disappointing.
Me: WHAT.
Old Officer: They ruined power scaling.
younger officer immediately joins debate.
Officer: No no movie fixed it.
suddenly entire police station arguing anime lore passionately.
one detective emerges from back room holding instant noodles.
Detective: Original manga better.
Me: I CAME HERE FOR A WALLET.
@CrimsonDesert_ I love @CrimsonDesert_ so much I travelled over 1,000+ meters to complete the Single Spark, Seven Strikes challenge with an explosive barrel. Man this was the definitive meaning of complicated and difficult sneaking past enemies on the way and finding the right spot. 😹😹😹😹🔥🔥
People are already saying Star Fox Battle Mode looks light because it only has three stages.
That's missing the point. This isn’t three deathmatch arenas with different skyboxes.
It’s three actual missions with completely different objectives.
On Corneria you fight to capture and hold a control zone.
On Fichina the goal is grabbing energy crystals while the other team tries to stop you.
In Sector Y you’re raiding space pirates to steal their cargo before they escape.
That’s not the same fight three times. That’s three different reasons to fly an Arwing, three different ways to use your team, and three different ways a match can actually swing.
Star Fox has always worked best when it feels like you’re on a mission, not just shooting other players until the timer runs out.
The old versus modes were fun, but they were still mostly arena fights. These objectives force actual strategy and role distribution.
Someone has to push the zone while others cover.
Someone has to hunt crystals while the rest harass or defend.
The limited stage count feels intentional instead of cheap.
And then there’s GameShare.
Up to four players can drop in together locally or through GameChat. Local works between Switch 2 and original Switch. Online is Switch 2 only for now.
It’s the closest we’ve ever got to the old briefing room fantasy, except now you’re not watching the team talk.
You’re wearing their faces and flying with them.
Most people are focused on how many maps there aren’t.
I’m more interested in whether these three maps make you want to keep playing with the same crew.
So which objective sounds good to you? Corneria zone control, Fichina crystals, or Sector Y cargo runs?
And be honest: would you rather have three distinct mission-style stages that force different strategies, or eight generic deathmatch maps that all play roughly the same?
No Man’s Sky launched so badly that it became one of gaming’s biggest disappointments.
Then Hello Games spent years quietly fixing it with free updates.
The comeback got so insane that fans crowdfunded a billboard outside the studio just to say thank you.
After Twitch chat beat Pokémon, people tried something even dumber.
They made Twitch chat play Dark Souls.
Thousands of people typed commands, died constantly, fought the controls, and somehow still beat the game after 43 days.
Praise the sun, but with input lag.
Through the current.
Crimson Desert Sealed Abyss Challenge - Swim 100 meters at full speed without resting.
To be honest, making the video was harder than doing the challenge itself.😅

This indie developer is making a 3rd person mech action title with deep customization and a sick art style!
It's called Code RAPID, will you play this?
