Something weird is happening with Liverpool coverage…

The broadcast in America spent most of the match; before and after we took the lead talking about how much better Evanilson was than Isak… and how they’d take him on their squad everyday before Isak.

We beat a team that hadn’t lost at home since December of last year… and immediately, Carra jumps on to say, we didn’t deserve to win, and our number 10 is shit, then did a podcast about it.

Opinions are opinions, but that is genuinely odd coverage for a team that’s unbeaten… #LFC

Here’s something Most Liverpool fans might not have known…

In 2016, Liverpool were already watching a 17-year-old Alexander Isak at AIK. Reports even claimed Liverpool representatives met with the Swedish club to discuss him but he chose Dortmund for his development path.

But the crazy part of his story is,

Just a few years earlier, at 14, one AIK coaches’ report questioned whether Isak would even become a future first-team player or make it as a pro.

Isak took that very personally.

At 16, he became AIK’s youngest-ever goalscorer.

At 17, he became Sweden’s youngest-ever international goalscorer, breaking a 105-year-old record.

And at 17, with Liverpool, Real Madrid and several European giants watching, Dortmund came calling.

The rest is history.

Sometimes the future superstar isn’t the kid everyone believes in.

Sometimes he’s the kid who gets told he might not make it in life and decides to make everyone regret saying it.
