Impressed by 40 Romanian winemakers showcasing 199 wines this week. Additional to #Romania’s intriguing indigenous varieties, excellent examples of use of French varieties originating from Bordeaux & Burgundy. Arched the spectrum of sparkling, still, dry-sweet, white, pink & red.

There is something really special about the red and white in the Mărțisor (little March) talisman that Romanians use for over 8,000 years to celebrate the new life and sun of the Spring! Now sharing this tradition with our Irish friends in @Limerick_ie at a kids workshop!
