I know a Man who folded His grave clothes on the way out: death couldn’t hold Him.
I know a Man who through His death destroyed the one who held its power & set us free.
I know a Man of whom it is written: death no longer has mastery over Him. The grave lost its grip forever.
“The present age is so flippant that if a man loves the Savior he is called a fanatic, and if he hates the powers of evil he is named a bigot.”
— Charles Spurgeon
1 Timothy 3:16: Great indeed, we confess, is the mystery of godliness: He was manifested in the flesh, vindicated by the Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among the nations, believed on in the world, taken up in glory.
Although Christ was God, He took flesh; and having been made man, He remained what He was, God.
Of no man was it said "He was manifested in the flesh"
He giveth more grace when the burdens grow greater;
He sendeth more strength when the labors increase.
To added affliction He addeth His mercy;
to multiplied trials, His multiplied peace.
His love has no limit; His grace has no measure.
His pow'r has no boundary known unto men.
For out of His infinite riches in Jesus,
He giveth, and giveth, and giveth again!
When we have exhausted our store of endurance,
when our strength has failed ere the day is half done,
when we reach the end of our hoarded resources,
our Father’s full giving is only begun.
Hang in brother and keep trusting God.
This passage of Scripture is good to read without the chapter and verse separations.
“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom: preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.”
— 2 Timothy 3:16 - 4:4
Even to your old age I will be the same,
And even to your graying years I will bear you!
I have done it, and I will carry you;
And I will bear you, and I will rescue you.
— Isaiah 46:4
Search Scripture through, and you must, if you read it with a candid mind, be persuaded that the doctrine of salvation by grace alone is the great doctrine of the word of God.
