Stumbled across a Milwaukee Journal Sentinel article about Milwaukee’s Bronzeville neighborhood. It’s sad as hell how vibrant the area used to be. The North South Freeway, combined with Milwaukee’s discriminatory housing laws in the 1960s, essentially ruined the area.
