Close to half of Americans are considering looking for a new job this year, according to LinkedIn Market Research.
I have personally spoken to several IT & Technology and Accounting & Finance professionals, some that are close friends/family, that have told me that they will be looking for new opportunities even though they're in solid positions.
There seems to be a bit more confidence in the job market, especially for those that are more experienced, but still a difficult one for those that are entry-level/junior.
We've also seen an increase in IT & Technology positions from our clients towards the end of last year and the start of 2025 as compared to the last two previous years.
It will be important to ensure that your team has a plan in place this year should there be more turnover than expected or an increase in job openings, and that you have a staffing partner you can rely on when needed.
@atomkirk From what I'm hearing in the tech world, it's a mixed bag, but for many it's an exciting experience to dive deeper on the PM side. The way things are going with coding we may eventually have more of an emphasis on the PM side vs. technical coding
