On March 3, 2021, “Angel,” or Kyal Sin, was shot dead by #Myanmar security forces at an anti-coup protest in Mandalay.
The slogan on her t-shirt, “Everything will be ok,” became a symbol of defiance for many in Myanmar who continue to honor her brave resistance against tyranny.
The talk about ‘rule of law’ means nothing in a country where you could get shot for hanging a banner, or persecuted for clapping or arrested for staying home.
Dear world, how could you stay doing ‘nothing’ when such atrocities are happening?

We have seen SAC military burning down civilian villages as as collective punishment to resisting their rule. The world should not sit idly and let impunity continues for their #CrimesAgainstHumanity. We need #NoFlyZoneInMyanmar.
MAGWAY —Banya Han, a 12-year-old whose father is wanted by authorities, has been detained along with two other local people in Myothit Township after the military failed to find Banya Han’s father.
What kind of monsters are they? Burned dead bodies should not be a reality of any country. Mangled crushed bodies should not be a reality of any country. Tortured broken bodies shouldn’t be a reality for anyone. 😭 💔
In Burma, people continue anti-junta resistance by banging pots and pans tonight. Soldiers are also committing horrific violence, destroying cars, shooting at civilian neighborhood and arresting people. A young man jumped from his five-storey apartment in fear of being arrest.
“Nowadays, if a person is arrested at night, the next morning, family members could be told to retrieve the dead body. Our lives are not guaranteed if we are arrested,” the photojournalist said. https://t.co/sGTMbt8m21
Although there was a brutal terrorist crackdown earlier, people still marched peacefully again in other areas in Yangon to show the determination and commitment. We want our messages to be heard: “Reclaim the lost human rights by revolution.” “Be humane and know human rights.”
At least four people were killed due to SAC vehicle drives through a group of protesters and opened fire at Pan Pin Gyi Road in Kyeemyindaing, Rangoon on Sunday
