I need to ask for more information about this letter..

[Elaine Joyce @ej5351]

@Matt_Pinner Lots of schools do this..but it's not easy to squeeze it into the eternally imposed curriculum

[Elaine Joyce @ej5351]

@mossgatherer_ @Sue_Cowley Whilst not a home educator both my kids were able to read without the formal instruction of school...I am a teacher but "teaching" is not necessarily the same as instruction or training....

@MrARawlings My Teacher Training course way back in the late 60s/ early 70s expected students to design activities/ lessons to teach a specific concept, e.g. probability to Top Juniors... we were then assessed on our activities/ lesson plans...

@FloraSCooper I am with you in spirit @FloraSCooper. I am a retired headteacher & a chair of governors. I hope I too would have had the courage of my convictions & taken an active stand against the unhelpful regime that OFSTED has become.

[Elaine Joyce @ej5351]

@LeeAndersonMP_ What immature behaviour ..from a member of Parliament. I love loads of things about my country..but its government is not one of them!

[Elaine Joyce @ej5351]

@LeeAndersonMP_ Are there no prisons?... Are there no workhouses?” In Scrooge's eyes, the poor don't need help –
1. Scrooge is immediately presented as an unpleasant character who is completely obsessed with making money.

[Elaine Joyce @ej5351]

@RealDeniseWelch I don't doubt that the Royal Household/ entourage is full of classist snobs some of whom will also be racist. The 'firm' will do whatever it takes to appear clean. They are all a waste of space & money!
