1/1: a balmy 70ºF followed by intense t-storms and tornadoes.
1/2: low of 27ºF with ~2in snowfall (>half of our total snow annually).

Realizing how much I adore public parks and need to appreciate them more. With a string of beautiful weather I've been completing work propped against a tree trunk next to a pond while kids and pets frolic and families feed ducks. Just serene☀️🌳

Trying to avoid being morose but I'm noticing a certain application trend having majored in BA science communication. Namely, "you're not a good fit because you're not a journalist" and "you're not a good fit because you're not a scientist."
