Thing that struck me playing #starfield last month, recalling the diary for Morpheus,how @UridiumAuthor had a whole complex ship building mechanic in 64k! graphics/3d aside the building block aren’t dissimilar. imagine the tech now would startle the me (and maybe Andrew?) then!

For people with no pedigree - eg no well-known school, known company etc - getting pedigree at a well-known place is a bigger career boost than an unknown startup.

Eg Replit - a startup - boasts hiring the best from… Facebook. Pedigree matters. Big Tech can help with this.
