Laughing at myself this morning because I started a new book in the Bible and read the summary and thought “Dang this book is about Jesus too?” Well no duh they’re all about Jesus 🤪
God devoted an entire book [Deuteronomy] allowing Moses to warn his people of disobedience—even though God knew they would be disobedient. Seems like a waste of time? Not at all! This just shows how fair and just of a God we serve. Even though He’s all knowing, we have a choice.
"When a man is newly married, he shall not go out with the army or be liable for any other public duty. He shall be free at home one year to be happy with his wife whom he has taken.”
Deuteronomy 24:5 ESV
You used to get a year off after you got married. Can we bring that back?
“For by Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him.” [Colossians 1:16]
You were created for God. He was not created for you.
Beware of Bible beaters void of the Holy Spirit. Where the Holy Spirit goes, the Holy Spirit shows. If the fruit of the Spirit is not evidenced, they can hang Bible verses on their limbs all day long but something’s still wrong with that tree. Jesus said know a tree by its fruit.
