@Devsthetix My experience is the opposite. I find the machines are so targeted and restrictive, that very few machines don't cause join pain of some sort (59 yo). Careful to keep proper form, with free weights, I leave the gym with zero joint pain anywhere.
@justdavenow89 Dogs are more interactive - walks, fetch, trick training. They like schedules. Cats are more an animated, warm, stuffed animal the deigns to interact when it chooses. Dogs will curtail travel unless you drop $$ on a whim for kenneling or house-sitting.
@JonKatz79 A good portion just don't. My mother: "Why do I need a password!??!!" My computer knows who I am." She drives to the bank once a week to pick up a printed statement.
@Jainadave_ I suspect it is very specific to the individual. I've been low carb for 18 months. Provided I get my pre-workout meal (bacon/eggs/mushrooms) timed and adequate, I have ample energy for workouts and am almost never hungry.
@Supersonic_Red On the money with this. I'd never figured out what 'generation' I was in. Born in 66, I've adapted to everything thrown my way - including, now, AI. I work as a programmer.
@micheal_ws18 I used Noom psych tricks. Seriously. I removed 'bad choices' from my house and exposed myself to them at the store every time I shopped - never buying. Went from 215 to 125. Looking at those Doritos and not buying them was HARD.
@Jainadave_ My treadmill time is split between various activities. 1/4 mile suitcase carry per hand, 2 cardio intervals, backwards walking, and then just general walking at incline. I tell myself "Are you really such a wuss you can't do this for 40 minutes twice a week?"
@DigitalFringed1 I have several things I do on the treadmill (cardio interval, suitcase carry, backward walking, plus just the distance. My thought is if something happens and I can't complete my overall workout, I've got the treadmill work done first.
